Community guidelines

1. Be nice. Don't be a bigot. YKINMKATO. If you comment on others' works, say something constructive and kind!
2. Respect others' privacy. Don't share things that others have privated or locked without their consent. (Exception: archive-locked works on AO3 may be linked to.) Don't share things that would reveal others' wallet names or otherwise doxx them. We respect anonymity; IP logging for comments in this community is turned off.
3. This is a choose not to warn space. That said, providing warnings for sensitive topics and/or leaving sensitive material under a cut is always appreciated, if the original poster feels it would be appropriate.
4. Credit anything you didn't make yourself. Avoid directly reposting another person's work in its entirety unless you've received explicit permission to do so; instead, include a description/summary/preview of the rec with both the creator's name and a link back to their original post or blog/website. Embeds are okay.
5. No "for sale" posts, ads for commissions, Patreon/Ko-fi, etc. (Exception: if you're offering your services in some kind of charity event, like fandomtrumpshate, feel free to advertise that!)

What is considered "on-topic" for this comm?

Any and all fanworks (including fanfic, fanpoetry, "imagines"/not!fic, roleplay logs, fanart, comics, fancrafts, cosplay, AMVs, animatics, fanmixes, fansongs, edits, icons, graphics, memes/incorrect quotes/TFLN, liveblogs/"reacts", picspams, gifsets, essays, ship manifestos, etc.), recs, reviews, discussion, events, or news pertaining to:

• a romantic and/or sexual relationship between Disney's Aurora and Maleficent, focusing primarily the versions from Sleeping Beauty (1959) and Maleficent (2014).

Because Dreamwidth is a tiny place and we want to foster discussion and community wherever we may find it, we're also happy to see content pertaining to:

• a platonic or ambiguous relationship between Aurora and Maleficent, so long as you understand that this is a shipping-oriented comm and that people might comment/engage from a shippy perspective.
• polyamorous arrangements where Aurora/Maleficent is a sub-component.
• just Aurora or Maleficent, individually.
• the films themselves and their spinoff materials, as well as the writers, actors, etc. involved in these properties.
• other versions of Aurora/Maleficent from other Disney properties (e.g. Once Upon a Time, Descendants).
• similar ships from other Sleeping Beauty adaptations (e.g. Aurora/Alyce from the Malice duology).
• the "Sleeping Beauty" fairytale in general.

In short, while this is first and foremost a Disney Aurora/Maleficent shipping comm, its interests are broad!
